God's fingerprint

I was sitting in a hotel lobby not too log ago spending time with a family member. Somehow then and there it really struck me how every person is unique, a design by God. He put a piece of Himself in you, that's why there is not, and will not ever be two people that are alike, not ever. God really did write a poem when He created you. That poem was written with His heart. It is something so very beautiful. He put a facet of Himself in you that cannot be found in anyone else. He created YOU because he delights in you!! Christian or non-Christian doesn't matter, your worth is not dependent upon faith.

Sitting there on that couch I could feel the warm heart beat of God. It moved me to tears, His love for YOU. Words become poor when trying to express His heart. How he longs for you! His thoughts about you are more in number than all the grains of sand found on the earth! He has not only counted, but even numbered the very hairs on your head.

How precious you are to Him!

I'll let one of my favorite artists sum up my thoughts:

Never has there been and never again
Will there be another you
Fashioned by God's hand and perfectly planned
To be just who you are
And what He's been creating
Since the first beat of your heart
Is a living, breathing
Priceless work of art

And I can see the fingerprints of God
when I look at you
I can see the fingerprints of God
And I know it's true
You're a masterpiece
That all creation quietly applauds
And you're covered with
The fingerprints of God
